Not a very exciting title, but good. After using 9 separate monitors from different brands on my main PC last year, I was concerned that I would have to do the same with my kid's computer. Luckily this LG monitor is very cheap, has good gsync/vsync capabilities, response times are pretty good, 144hz is nice and smooth and the colors are good. Not the brightest panel, but that's okay - the panel lighting is even, and I have a very small backlight spot near the center, but that's literally it. No IPS glow, dead pixels, scanlines, flickering etc. Really good 1080p monitor, perfect size, no fuss or fuss. can be used to power an LED backlight strip to improve visual contrast, which IPS typically lacks. Let's see if anything comes up in the next few weeks, but otherwise a great cheap monitor.
