Sturdy construction. Behind it is a round metal spring that exerts pressure on the plastic "teeth" radially outwards. This results in a high holding voltage and a tight fit when placed. I have factory 22 inch wheels. Use your palm or take a rubber mallet and hit the perimeter with it, keeping the pressure on the opposite side. I'm sure there are better quality builds out there that cost 4x that. I mean, this block is mostly plastic. It's one hell of an SUV center cap and not a bionic limb, so it really doesn't need to be made out of space-age materials or complicated machinery. Appearance is great, the emblem looks authentic and overall consistent chrome plating.
