This was a great start to teaching my rescue dog how to walk without bucking. She's very strong and I never felt like I had complete control over her. I have that control. It won't hurt her. Instead, it feels like the mother dog is correcting her child. My dog has never shown pain. It has never left a mark on my dog. You have the option of using plastic teeth or removing them for more stubborn dogs. We use this every day. She's getting used to giving me control. Now walking has become a pleasant stroll. She can see things and smell things. Before that she walked very fast. She didn't notice anything because she was so depressed. Three minutes after she pulled me, I stopped breathing and I got angry. There was no use scolding her. After being dragged around the neighborhood at 10 miles an hour, I felt guilty for all my screaming and I could see her feelings were hurt. She didn't understand, which slowed the mind. Now 4 days have passed and I can see and feel the improvement off the leash. I'm excited!
