Worse than cheap ones.
So I've tried 6 inch antennas and other smaller sizes of lower quality before. This one here. Build quality is definitely better than the cheap stuff, but surprisingly the reception was WORSE than the rest. At least I got a few stations (in a big east coast city) with the others. I was expecting less reception than with a long standard antenna, but without the built-in antenna the reception was actually better than with this one.
