Several practical sockets for home entertainment

I bought this extension cord to have enough outlets for my TV/entertainment system. It's not like it's a huge or complex setup, but each small device needs its own power supply. It's essentially a TV, Roku, DVD player, soundbar, subwoofer, Chromecast, HDMI switch and clock radio. Just enough that the average extension cord just won't do. Nothing that requires a lot of power, but the wall warts make it difficult to wire everything. When I saw this I hoped it would solve my problem. (By the way, I plugged a lamp into a different plug on the outlet.) The center six outlets are the same as any cheap power strip. Well, if you use regular sockets. The six (three on each side) outlets are rotated 90 degrees and spaced far enough apart to allow for larger wall mount power supplies. All my devices connect very cleanly and I only had to use an extension cord. Yes, that's twice as many power strips as it's basically two power strips in one case. Seems to work without problems as long as you don't plug in a lot of high current devices. Can't comment on phone jacks or cable TV jacks as I don't use them. In general, this is a high-quality device. I probably wouldn't use it in the garage for some power tools, but for a regular TV it should be perfect. I'll probably buy another one for my computer.

Pros
  • Compact, powerful and space-saving. Widely spaced sockets offer plenty of space for large plugs and charging boxes. The slim design makes it ideal for home offices, workspaces and playrooms. Durable 1.8m cable with spade connectors for easy installation in hard-to-reach places.
Cons
  • No power
