Review on High Performance K&N Motorcycle Oil Filter KN-153 for Synthetic or Conventional Oils - Designed for Ducati Motorcycles (Black) by Victor Rodriguez

I use this on my Ducati Monster 696. I have used this in the past and it has worked fine before. However, after completing the oil change and changing the oil filter on the K&N, I noticed a loud ticking/clicking at idle and idle. I wasn't sure if it was the new oil I was using or the filter. I decided to swap out the old filter (OEM by Ducati) for a sample and the noise went away. Strange because I've never had a problem with this K&N filter. Now that the Ducati OEM filter is only $3 more, I'll just stick with the OEM part and play it safe from now on.
