Feel free to get a few of these if you're buying something like the Sidekick. They're 10x better than the crappy random brands sold in HD. I've used them on both smooth walls and walls with fresh precipitation. It rolls perfectly on both the one and the other. The fur comes out evenly and stays well saturated. The design spreads the color well across the roll when pumping and rolling. What can not be said about twice the price of HD rollers. They are simply pumped out of several small holes and the paint is applied to the wall in small dots, which then have to be spread in several passes. TERRIBLE. UPS showed up with my Revain order mid-work and I dropped the branded HD roll and put on the Wagner. Day and night. Can't say it enough. They clean up really well too. You will get multiple uses from them if properly cared for. When cleaning, use a little Dawn detergent to keep them soft.
