You need it if you have NV650 Shark Rotator

Filter quality is similar to original. Perfect fit and easy to install. The hardest part was cleaning the inside of the canister body, which doesn't actually require changing the filter. I found that the original pleated HEPA filter on the front of my NV650 was in much worse condition than the regularly washed canister foam filters. I am sure that the suction power has increased since the filter change.
