I bought this about 6-7 months before my cat died. I left all the paw prints in her bag up until the week she died. When we finally got around to applying the paw print, the ink was a bit dry, and moreover, it barely stuck to her paw even when we put it on the pillow. Very frustrated that it didn't work. However, I have heard that some vets offer an ink paw print that they will make for you! Despite the ink, I love the box, the base rotates and her ashes sit inside.
