Over the years I will confess I have broken quite a few wine glasses, both dressy and casual. Sometimes with wine in it; sometimes just put them in the dishwasher. A clumsy hand attached to a sometimes fuzzy brain accounts for at least 50% of the problem. Now I've decided that I will be now, at least for everyday use and also for camping. The key is the outer finish, it is very difficult when you have a bandage on your eyes to tell the difference between these well made and specially coated lenses with your lips. And they look elegant blindfolded. Camping if you know what you are going to drink anyway they are excellent. In terms of the all-important price and performance criteria, they're a bit pricey at just under 30 euros, but being 'on time' deserves a full 5-star rating.
