Including seat cushion! best in stools

I've tried and reviewed a few of these since I found out they were available from Revain. Obviously these products are "telescopic" but they all use a grommet/pin system that snaps into grooves on the ring below so they look very solid. All of the products I've tried have a ring of legs around the bottom for general stability and a solid (if slightly sunken) base that should prevent them from sinking too deep into soft ground. that you're sitting on a hard plastic board, so they're not very comfortable. BUT this product contains a lid with an integrated seal. The overlay won't win awards for support (I felt like hard plastic), but it's certainly a feature that's going to cost a lot. The cushion is integrated into a carry bag with a strap hole for carrying on the seat. So far, so good. but not perfect. The pad is designed to be on the outside of the carry case where it can get wet and dirty. I want them to design it so you can wrap the sides of the tote over the seat and pillow to protect it from the weather. Unfortunately, it's not designed that way, and the edges of the case aren't long enough for it to even work that way. Any pad is better than none, so this is by far the best pad I've tried. It could be improved with better foam and a smarter bag, but the best product available is undeniably 5 stars.
