I was so happy when I got my first orange Fiskars. I've been reading reviews for several months; and I'm an avid coupon shopper and just plain paper crazy stationery fan! It seems that I always have scissors in my hands. These scissors are so hard to use; this. Every time you open and close the scissors, there is so much friction that the hand starts to hurt after a few cuts! I couldn't believe how bulky and "unsmooth" they looked! My hand was honestly sore after just one attempt at cutting out the coupons. They might be better suited for crafts, but I didn't find them particularly sharp or ergonomic. couldn't figure out what the hype was about. Just got back to my $2 pair of scissors from the grocery store, which are easy to open and close without training my hand! PS I tried to lubricate the blades, it didn't help.
