The rack came with a broken plastic case with a cable lock. This can cause metal parts to corrode from the elements. There were 2 distinct scratches on the post. These issues are so noticeable that I don't understand why it was in the box. My interaction with a company that makes bike racks looking for a possible solution for a lock was a horrible story where I held the phone first for 30 minutes and the second time for 45 minutes without ever contacting a person. On the third call I gave false information. Needless to say, I'm sending it back.
