Would give 10 stars if I could! I'm a Storm/Roto guy (although not a full-time employee) and this is my first global bowling ball. I never thought I would say that about the Global 900 (the first ball made since Storm bought it) but this ball is by far the most versatile ball to come out in a long time! I have almost 2 dozen bowling balls and have been bowling for ten years now so I'm not saying this lightly. Every 3-5 years, a ball with a different reaction is released, which everyone likes and is suitable for almost every bowler in almost all conditions. It's that ball! Don't let the fact that it's a pearl fool you, this bullet reads the mid lane exceptionally well. This is a medium control ball that can be drilled as a reference ball. I never liked pearls until now! They just don't go together and are too "jumpy" for me. The lower RG and higher diff combined with the huge core and soft pearl finish is the perfect combination. This ball reads the mids, bounces dry, and goes through the pegs. I play medium speed/medium speed bowlers. I can throw this ball up the "lane" or I can move A LOT to the left and throw it over the middle arrow. It has no problem recovering even if I miss a few boards in either direction at the breakpoint. I have the Phaze 3 and love it, but this ball is EXACTLY what I wanted the Phaze 3 to be. One can practice Zen under more conditions without being overwhelmed. When lanes aren't dry, this ball can help you find a pocket. I have a drilled pin on top, one on bottom and 2 more that sit undrilled. This ball has supported production more than any other ball in recent history. It's not just hype, this ball is SO good. This ball will likely be a coveted ball long after it is discontinued. The last ball I felt this way about was the original game breaker. This ball has nothing to do with a game breaker, but it does have a reaction that everyone will love, just like a game breaker.
