We bought this product to find out what weird device is connected to our Wi-Fi network but we didn't detect it. We just couldn't find it anywhere, and the scan didn't show what it was. Also, I thought it would be a good buy as my area of expertise is related to cybersecurity. It seemed difficult at first because the instructions aren't the best. But he did it by connecting both antennas and turning on the first green indicator. Then I held it to my phone while I had my browser open and saw how it worked. Then I tested closer to the modem and caught fire like a Christmas tree. So now I know how it worked. Double press the MS button to make it vibrate instead of beeping. I walked around the house and finally found a connected Wi-Fi extender that we didn't even use and forgot it was there, so it was a storage device we couldn't find. Nothing exciting, but at least we know our house isn't bugged. It looks like the same process of detecting all other devices would work, as it lights up near a fridge, microwave, and other devices that aren't necessarily Wi-Fi enabled. Especially when in use, the machine will glow intensely. In any case, I think it works great for that purpose and even more "spy" work, as it at least shows you devices that are sending what they are sending, which you might not have known before. .
