My tire is losing air and I think it's the valve. I bought these caps because they are metal and have a rubber gasket at the top. I figured if I unscrewed them the valve on the rubber cap would close. The problem with them is that the body of the cap is too long. I can screw them in until the threads run out on the barrel, but the barrel still doesn't touch the rubber seal in the cap. They are almost useless to me.
