I have an old external hard drive with precious family photos and recently connected it to my new laptop. I didn't really pay attention to USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 until my external hard drive was recognized by my laptop. I had no idea why I needed a USB 2.0 ADAPTER to make my USB 3.0 laptop recognize my old USB 2.0 drive. This hub is the perfect tool for those who need a variety of tech connectors and memory card readers! Very versatile USB 2.0, USB 3.0, C connector, HDMI connector, LAN and VGA. These guys even thought of keeping the cables neat and separate from the device when transporting the device. A very nice case to keep it in and it keeps the cables separate from the device with a separate inner sleeve that helps protect it from bumps or scratches during transport. See my photos.
