My wife and I hung these bulbs on the ceiling of our screen porch, and they are just beautiful! The bulbs come packed in bulk in three boxes with foam dividers, and they all arrived in pristine condition. It came with an extra 5 bulbs.I was careful to only screw in a few bulbs at a time when I was hanging these and installation mostly went fine.until I had a hook come undone before I secured it and a 10 foot length went crashing down on the wood deck! That caused 8 of the bulbs to shatter into what seemed like millions of tiny shards of glass. Lucky for me, Lalapao sells the replacement bulbs on Ebay! These bulbs happen to be traditional incandescent and as such, they are dimmable! The color of these bulbs is very warm and pleasing to the eye.The base (where the bulb screws in) is made of plastic and the built-in clip on each base is very forgiving. I hung these with a combination of brass hooks and stainless steel staples to ensure that a gust of wind did not send the entire string crashing down to the floor.My only gripe is that they did not include an in-line dimmer, however, I plan to add one on my own as the cable is a basic 2-wire desk-lamp style cable.
