J&J used to sell this wonderful dental floss that was made out of some type of fluoride filled stretchy material. Then, inexplicably, they stopped selling it and we were stuck with regular nylon spools. Oh, you can still find ribbon thread and stretch thread, but they're not the same thing. So I went in search of the perfect yarn and came across this Italian product. The charcoal and xylitol give it excellent brushing properties, and the floss itself stretches, which isn't quite as gentle as J&J Reach but still better than nylon floss. It's not cheap, but what you get is good for your teeth. Incidentally, charcoal has been used for brushing teeth for centuries and works very well. If this product was also filled with fluoride (perhaps as an additional alternative as some are opposed to fluoride use) it would be close to ideal.
