Smooth handle: That's why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars. The handle, like many other things, is coated in polyurethane for durability and looks. . This makes it really slippery. If you're that inclined, I recommend sanding it down with 60 or 80 grit sandpaper to remove the polyurethane and give it a good grip. Afterward, it feels better than most scrubbers I've used. Stiff bristles: The bristles are stiff and long (gigital), which makes it extra easy to remove stubborn dirt from all your kitchen utensils and dishes. It's just gotten a lot easier to scrub eggs off spatulas and plates; cheese from baked dishes; and among other things, dried oatmeal from pans. I strongly recommend a good hard bristle tea towel even if you don't like it. Also shout to the length of the stubble. They add a bit of cuteness when you have to squeeze under that last piece of shit. Good in the hand: I have a fist the size of a large navel orange (large glove size). I love that the range gets me to the bottom of a pint (for reference). The short-handled scrubbers I've used have been okay in terms of leverage, but they've always lacked reach. The long scrubbers I've used don't have good leverage unless I choke on the handle. This handle has a good medium length. The wider handle offers a good grip (after grinding), for example when turning and turning a coffee pot. An excellent brush for me! Try it!
