Does the Padat 200 also fit when folded?!

Imagine my surprise when I installed it on my Padat stand and found that all the buttons and latches are lined up exactly as they are specifically designed to fit between the folded legs of their little one to fit the travel stand. Lanterns, Padat . 200. If the carabiner is rotated so that the carabiner is vertically aligned with the center post handles, it will fit between the legs when folded for travel. why do you want it Because you save about 4 inches of overall length when folded and the combo kit still fits in the travel bag that comes with the Padat stand. Some of you may be wondering "why a carbine?" but were afraid to ask for fear of "appearing stupid". That's a valid question and the answer is that you can tie the stand to your bag or backpack. DO NOT hang the bag on the carabiner. How to break the rod. Ideally, you'll place the bag on one of your legs, two if possible, attach the bungee or harness from the bag to the carabiner, then tighten the strap until it's secure. If any part of your bag lifts off the ground, unbuckle the strap. It just has to be comfortable. It's about giving the center column more stability and wobble resistance; This is especially effective when you're using an umbrella or softbox outside and there's a breeze. By tying it to the pocket at the top of the pillar, you effectively deal with the rocking. If you don't have a bag, use a large rock or sandbag to hold your foot. tie it to one of the legs. While this will help keep the column from swaying, you will need to put weight on the legs to keep the entire unit from moving in the wind. Don't over-tighten the strap... you're just strengthening it, not building a recurve bow. Okay, one note: the small version "clicks" with pronounced latches. This annoys me because sometimes I can't direct the light to the desired angle. Since I don't see any visible prongs on the unit, I can take it apart to see if I can remove the mount without affecting the elbow grip. At least it holds my heavier Bowens softboxes without slow sagging but still restricts, and others have found ways to offer a quiet, non-slip connection.
