Review on RUIXINDA Fitting Portable Splitter Compatible by Darryl Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well as a USB port expansion hub.

Anyone who would say this has an indicator light that is "very bright in a dark room" should get used to life underground. It's a pin-sized LED that leaks a bit into the next open port, and that's it. I like the display just to make sure power is available at a glance. It was the best deal I could find, with a USB 3 (plus a USB-C port and three USB 2.0 slots). Most other comparable devices I've seen at this price point have typically all been USB 2.0. Maybe type C. If you need more USB 3, you pay more. I don't know if it's intended to be used as a charger, but it serves that purpose with a mobile phone. It's not fast charging, nothing more than using a separate cable, but it gets the job done, and in general, slow charging is much better than fast-charging device batteries. For now, it's a useful and fairly compact device that serves its purpose. with minimal space requirements.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
