The first radio I ordered had a problem. An alarm sounds when the power is turned off. Therefore it must be left. I contacted support via email on the card that came with the radio and when the suggested solution didn't work they sent me another radio with an apology. This is really great customer service that I was very impressed with. I don't usually make videos for reviews, but this time I did. I bought this radio for my 85 year old father to carry around as he enjoys listening to talk shows. The weight is quite low and the battery lasts a long time. For the 3 AAA batteries that you insert in addition to the built-in lithium battery, I use rechargeable ones and always have spares on hand. So I don't have to buy new batteries. The device that didn't turn off lasted for several days at low volume, so it lasts a long time even when only using the internal battery. AM reception works quite well. Just turn the radio until the station gets better. The antenna is designed for the FM band. The buttons are all black so I would suggest painting the letters on the buttons white so you can easily read what they mean. I could do it myself.
