This radio worked right out of the box and then sat on the shelf waiting for something else, an emergency. I used it while fixing the tractor and nothing. Fully charged, undamaged, it just doesn't work. FM automatically reset to 245.7? Wouldn't let me go back to normal. Light and SOS work. The return period has of course expired. Pros: Very light. The buttons/functions are easy to use and understand. Large solar panel. Long strong antennae. The handle is plastic but seems sturdy enough for its intended purpose. I've had other handheld lights/radios that broke after regular use. Cons: I was under the impression that this radio had 7 NOAA channels. It is not. It only has 1. UPDATE: So it turns out there is a way to tune this radio to the BB station you want. I'm not sure why it didn't work then, but now almost a year later I've tried again because where my other weather radio is, it still works perfectly and is accurate. We recently had a four day power outage so we turned on our old emergency radio to keep in touch with the outside world. We kept our old radio on the windowsill to keep it charged in an emergency, but found it only worked for ten minutes when we needed it in an emergency.
