Since 9/11 my family has been carrying small emergency radios in their pockets or wallets every day but figured that during the power outage we would buy a larger radio for home, the is compact, and one with a really good phone charger. This device just isn't worth the price, especially when compared to our $15 models. Firstly, unlike similar devices, this device has a good user manual. However, it is almost impossible to remove the crank from the mount without prying it open with a tool and damaging the body. the watch feels comfortable but is unnecessary; While my $15 radio's solar panel fully charges the device in 12 hours, this model takes 50 hours in the sun to fully charge, while most power outages end in less than 24 hours. but it's just not worth the price. Return the device unused.
