Review on Uncle Milton 042499000154 Ant Farm by Josh Culotta

My kids had many successful ant farms from Uncle Milton. My 18 year old son asked for this farm to have fun in his youth. We ordered ants from Uncle Milton and brought the package in as soon as it arrived. 50% of the ants were dead on arrival. The rest died within the next week and a half. As a family we have experience with ant farms and have never experienced anything like this. I don't know if it was just a bad batch or if Uncle Milton has lower quality standards than he did a few years ago. Anyway, I don't want to pay again (the "free" ants are $7 for shipping, then that's more to order another set) to order the ants for fear they'll get in be in the same condition. Despite being cheap it was a waste of money and ended up in the bin in less than 2 weeks.
