Review on 🚗 Dorman 56405 Driver Side Door Mirror Glass for Toyota Models: A Reliable Replacement Option by Steven Wood

Auto parts stores where I asked just about this part was told I would have to invest in the entire mechanism that holds it. This seemed unreasonable as the mirror I was supposed to replace fell off in one piece. There had to be a cheaper and easier to install way to handle this! When the Dorman plastic backed mirror glass arrived it was exactly as described. Some reviews have warned about reflection distortion, but I don't have this problem. It took a lot of force (weak for me) to get it in place. But it lasted less than a few minutes. A warning - there is a warning that distortion may occur if the installer presses fingers around the edges of the glass instead of palm pressing in the center as instructed. I'm grateful I didn't. No need to take apart the car door to fix it!
