Review on GXG-1987 Digital Hour Meter Tachometer Tach Tacho: Reliable Tracking for Yamaha Honda Kawasaki BMW Engines by Mitch Emmel

I use this as a tachometer on a Buell blast. Finding the right mode for the 4-stroke single cylinder engine was a little tricky, but after scrolling through all the options I found the right mode. Installation is easy as it is just an inductive wire. Overall a bit chilly. The main disadvantages are that the back plate falls off (I fixed it) and the rotation speed is not that accurate. This means it works well enough to determine my idle and travel RM readings, but the idle reading alternates between the two when the actual reading falls in between. But for 10 I am very satisfied.
