The material seems durable. Inside is a cotton fiber lining so it won't scratch unless dirt gets inside. The clips are enough to keep the lid from lifting in the wind. Although the material of the strap can collect dirt quite easily. The overall size is a bit off. When the front vent lines up with the battery vent, the rear is shorted by about 4 inches. The photos show the balance with the front half of the vent covering half of the intake port and the rear still shorted. But for the most part it serves its purpose. The charger zipper is positioned correctly. I would have preferred a cut that went down to fit the charging cover. So you have a part of the inner lining that opens when you fold it up with the zipper open. I'm in SoCAL so rain probably won't be an issue, but if you're in an area that gets a lot of rain you'll need to charge under a canopy. Alternatively, remember to fold down the flap to keep the inner lining from getting wet. The material of the cover protects the car well. However, the car still warms up sufficiently. This is not a thermal blanket that reflects heat. In general, it meets most of the expected needs. Minus one star for the incorrect fit (easy to fix and not difficult to get the pattern right considering the cars are stock) and minus one star for the charging access design (poor design thought). It's a fair value, not great, but not bad either. You shouldn't come back. Everything is OK.
