TL;DR: For the true total cost of what you need, you're not far from a Kreg circular saw attachment for around $40. I will do that. The more I buy all the necessary parts that weren't included in the combo kit, the more I feel like I should have just bought the tools individually. And all the more I feel a little betrayed and betrayed by DeWalt, who I expected more from. It becomes a fact finding mission and a headache when I decide to spend my time working on my project. I don't think there's any good reason why they shouldn't be included. And it's only about 5 1/2 inches, so it's a little insulting for an injury after going through the trouble. Admittedly it was my fault and I didn't want to belittle this article since I couldn't use it. But come on Dewalt make a universal rip guide, what's the problem, that's not rocket science. So I think 3 stars is appropriate as there is no excuse for your tools not to be more compatible other than to make a profit. Fence to the saw!
