These vinyl caps are thinner and more flexible than I thought. They came out a bit out of round, which is to be expected with thin vinyl. That's not rubber, that's vinyl. This means they last longer than natural rubber. They are best used for the ends and tops of 1 3/4" pipes, not as feet (rubber is best) as they are very thin. I use them on my very old power rack with legs that go horizontal standing on the floor. I painted this thing and didn't want the "sharp" end of the metal tube to cut off my toe when I walked barefoot. These things are the PERFECT solution. But thicker vinyl would also work for my application and could be more versatile as feet for vertical tube legs such as metal chairs or folding table trolley For my use: 5/5 stars For general use: 4/5 stars.
