I never write that. But this time I felt like I had to. The stool looks great and feels like a high quality material. But the smell! I know I've also read reviews and seen people complaining about it but figured I'd air it out and have a bit of a fever and I'd be fine. nope Smells like a musky old house. I left it in the room hoping it would weather but people came into the room asking about the smell. Put in the garage for three weeks. Tried 3 rounds of Febriz. I brought it back into the house. Finally abandoned and it's back in my garage in a pile of donations. I can still smell it every time I walk past it.
