Although it clearly says "GPS" on the case and even though it's sold as a GPS tracker, it doesn't use any GPS satellites at all. Instead, triangulation is carried out using mobile phone masts. The location data is approximate and covers an area of several blocks, which is smaller than would be ideal if the LE had to go to a garage or warehouse. Downloading requires you to purchase a SIM card in order to use it at all. I returned the product after reading several reviews about the product and its shortcomings. Luckily I haven't bought this SIM card yet.
