Decent all-round racket

When it comes to table tennis, Joola might not be the first brand that comes to my mind (it might be only me, though). I have been playing table tennis more than several decades and Butterfly and Stiga have been my choice of table tennis rackets. Only table tennis product from Joola I have is a carrying case with balls that I carry every time. I was curious how good the top of the line (price-wise) Joola racket is and would say that they made a decent all-round racket for players of any level. When I got the product, I first compared it with my Butterfly and Stiga paddles in similar price range. The Joola Spinforce 300 was not flashy but you could immediately feel that it is a quality product. The racket has a 5 plywood construction and I felt that it was slightly heavier than other paddles I use. I measured the weight with a digital kitchen scale and the weight was 168g (5.92 oz), My impression was right that it was slightly heavier (10g or so) than Butterfly and Stiga I have been using but not by much. As the name sounds, this racket was bit more in the spin side and the rubber was stickier than my other rackets (so more spin!). I myself is a defensive style player and liked the feel of the rubber in both sides of the Spinforce 300. I brought it to my table tennis club and asked others to give it a try and heard how it felt to them. My club members' response were that the Spinforce 300 was also good for an offensive player. So, I would say that the Spinforce 300 is a good all-round racket. The finish was excellent and the racket gave me a new impression of Joola as a racket company rather than an accessory company that I have been knowing of. At this price range, I think the Spinforce 300 can compete with other well-know brands and am looking forward to seeing their next line of products.
