When connected to my MacBook Pro, the name of this device appears in the list when the computer asks to use it for I/O. The assembly is solid. Broadcast quality audio (I use it for professional radio/TV dubbing). Use it alone with a directly connected mic and headphones (I use Adobe Audition) or connect them through the console. Or set it to only be used for output and use direct USB-C for input (if your board is configured for it). Its name is listed in Mac Preferences and Au Preferences. In a word: enthusiastic.
