Review on SR SUN RISE SRSH-F5043 Bathroom Luxury Rain Mixer Combo Set: Wall Mounted Rainfall Shower Head System in Polished Chrome with Faucet Rough-in Valve Body and Trim by Robin Naber

High quality, durable metal. Good value for money.

The set is very high quality. Unlike most faucets today, this one is solid metal rather than chrome plated plastic. It's heavy brass with a thick chrome plating. And it's packed like jewels. Each piece is individually wrapped in a felt bag and lovingly placed in a custom foam lined box. It includes all parts and tools needed for installation and repair. (Wrenches, pipe plugs, 10 extra O-rings, wall anchors, and a large roll of Teflon tape.) And for the finishing touches, they include a pair of white cotton installer gloves! Valves work smoothly. It equalizes the pressure so you don't burn yourself when someone flushes the toilet. The handstick is easy to use. The overhead "rainhead" sprays a pleasant rain of warm drops. It's pretty cute. I've owned a lot of properties over the years, so owned about 100 showers. This is my favorite. Better performance, better looks, better performance. UPDATE 2020-05-24: I have purchased and installed 8 more of these shower sets. (See attached photos if interested.) I've noticed an issue with some of the latest kits - I've noticed a leak on the portable wand mount. This bracket actually consists of two parts - a threaded brass nipple that screws into the pipe and a chrome plated bracket that fits over the nipple and is tightened with a pair of set screws. The leak occurs where the nipple enters the chrome bracket. Water is seeping through some o-rings and out of the chrome bracket. (Looks like smaller nipples and o-rings for the mount.) Unfortunately, that water can drip into your wall. This is not good. I solved the problem when it came up by wrapping 12-16 layers of teflon tape around the nipple to stop the leak. But unless you carefully check for leaks during installation, you probably don't know if you have this problem. At least until you notice water damage. UPDATE 06/01/2021: When assembling the shower head bend, be sure to align and secure it. It should support a long metal arm that will sag if the elbow is not securely attached. If you don't understand these suggestions, I recommend you contact a plumber.
