Pretty cool but base is missing

So I've been a HUGE Magic Bullet fan since it came out. When my food processor broke my original Bullet was showing signs of age so I was really excited about it! Something to note: It doesn't have a handy "push to blend" feature that I haven't thought of. important, but I honestly miss it a lot! The pulse function is no different from the continuous blend function, which makes it a little less convenient. Your old cups don't fit, and that's particularly sad because: you don't have a small cup and I have found that I use them MUCH more than the big ones. You can only buy additional blades from their website and they will ship for $10 unless you spend $50. Storage is not perfect! I used to have a ton of extra cups and for some reason felt more organized than just two large cups, a 3.5 cup processor cup with a large chopping knife in it and a small chopping/shredding disc. Suction cup feet are less comfortable than a flat bottom. Although maybe that's just my thing. but I always draw it to me before use. I will say that a big ninja style blade is nice to have. However, I do feel a little underwhelmed by the design of this blender, particularly the lack of smaller cups and extra blades. In general, if you don't use Magic Bullet for a long time/daily, you will be impressed. In this case, however, you might feel like you're missing out on a lot of useful extras.

Pros
  • Blades are stainless steel; The bowl and mug are made of durable, BPA-free plastic.
Cons
  • Only available in black
