Breaking contacts. If some functions that should work do not work, try attaching and detaching the lens several times. Otherwise a pretty solid piece. Update: I suspect that the problem is not with the contacts but with the Sony software. I'm having the exact same problem and even worse with the Metabones Version IV adapter. I have to turn off the camera (FS5), remove the battery, insert the lens, insert the battery, then turn on the device and wait for the picture to be taken (may take 30 seconds). If an image appears, aperture is not available. Then I turn it off and on again and fades appear. Sometimes it takes a third and then again. This is with lens firmware version 3 in the camera. The Metabones IV adapter requires a similar start but doesn't work at all with the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II; Contacts don't touch due to a sloppy fit. By the way, be thankful if you have bezels, there aren't many other features.
