I do light maintenance on my bikes and needed to replace a couple of pedals that didn't have hex holes on the ends so I got this tool . It was bigger than I thought it would be, so it was great because there was enough leverage to remove the old pedals that you couldn't remove with an adjustable wrench (I know, I know). The first new pedal fitted well, but on the second the key slipped off and slightly damaged the finish of the jaws. In my defense, the hexes for the new pedal were pretty small, but you can still tell the tool isn't the strongest metal - it's not just scraping paint. So for a store, this would be a problem with long-term use. For the home user, however, the price was unbeatable. Even after that, if I had the chance to go back in time, I'd buy it again and just be more careful with it. I'll probably change at most a dozen pedals before I lose it or borrow it and forget it anyway, so there's no point spending 2-3x the money on a better button. However, if you plan on replacing more than 50 pedals with it, this wrench is not for you.
