Great pedal wrench for $9

Great pedal wrench for $9. I got it to change the pedals on my new bike but used it two days later to remove the training wheels from my son's bike and tighten the loose handlebars. A very useful tool at a great price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • unreliable

Good value for money bike tools and maintenance

I have used this several times while working on my bikes. It's thick enough to be durable, it's offset to protect your joints from damage, it has convenient holes for your pedals, and it's long enough for good leverage. Decent price - there's no reason the average user would want anything more expensive.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Modern

Super useful high quality tool for cyclists

If you need a good tool for removing bike pedals and other operations, this wrench is for you. It has 15, 16 and 17mm all in one and also for all your needs. The length of the wrench helps and also allows you to apply more torque than using a tiny wrench and breaking your hands. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Ok

This is a spanner from the bike tool and service catalog

I never thought I would consider something as simple as a spanner but I originally bought it from another manufacturer not in the 17- mm screw that I had to tighten. and had to go back. This wrench worked great - all three sizes fit - strong enough to help with my bike maintenance jobs and thin enough to get where I need to go.

Pros
  • handsfree
Cons
  • repair

Good cheap pedal wrench

Works better than expected for $10. Has a nice sturdy look and helped remove and install the pedals. Has 15, 16 and 17mm (holes have cutouts for different sizes). To be honest I only have reason to take the pedals off my bike a couple of times a year at most and I can't justify buying a nicer one - this thing works great for what I need it for.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Volume

Suitable for occasional home use but not for the shop

I do light maintenance on my bikes and needed to replace a couple of pedals that didn't have hex holes on the ends so I got this tool . It was bigger than I thought it would be, so it was great because there was enough leverage to remove the old pedals that you couldn't remove with an adjustable wrench (I know, I know). The first new pedal fitted well, but on the second the key slipped off and slightly damaged the finish of the jaws. In my defense, the hexes for the new pedal were pretty small,

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
