This is an amazing flux, the best I have ever used. It boils away very slowly, the dregs are soft and easily washed off. Even the smoke is smaller and not as toxic as almost every other flux I've used. The syringe applicator works great, but the standard tube doesn't come with a plunger. So if you don't have a 30ml flask, buy the part marked "Kit" to get the flask with it. The syringe comes with a short needle, but it's a standard luer lock, so any dispensing needle will do. I put a slightly thinner needle on it for more accuracy and had no problems. It is very easy to apply, does not stretch and is not too sticky. It flows when exposed to heat but stays in place most of the time, making cleaning easier. I've done a few informal tests and they look at surface oxidation as the lower end of high activity fluxes, but the residue doesn't appear to be corrosive and behaves more like a low activity flux.
