Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Mobile Home Belly Bottom Repair - Fix Underbelly Holes & Rips with Flex-Mend 6x180 by Drew Diaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fulfills the task: cleaning and maintenance

Restored a seal on the bottom of my caravan that had fallen off the front and rear. This stuff is VERY sticky and will stick to the water barrier and whatever you choose to stick it to. The main complaint (hence the 4/5) is that the tape is so sticky that the tape needs to have a peelable backing. This pad is very difficult to remove. Even after you start twisting the corner, it tends to crack oddly and peel unevenly, leaving spots where pieces of the backing are still attached and not adhering. The only other downside is that the tape is a bit thinner than I imagined and when applied by hand, pulling even with moderate force will cause the tape to stretch/warp and create holes in the tape. I would recommend the manufacturer to increase the thickness of the backing of the tape so that once you start working on the corners it will peel evenly without tearing and consider making the tape itself a bit thicker. You can remove the backing and tape carefully (don't stretch or deform), this tape will do the job. I haven't had any water issues and my lower abdomen is now holding tight after half a dozen torrential downpours and many car rides (even in the rain). It's really just an app, it's a pain.
