I ordered this foldable silicone food storage container from KUFUNG because I am always on the lookout for good and innovative food storage containers. This one didn't impress me very much. First, they appear to come in different sizes. The one they sent me, 5 inches long and 3.5 inches wide, is so small I really can't imagine what I'll be storing in it. So it's foldable. Fully extended it's only 2.25 inches deep, again not deep enough to fit anything. In fact, it's so small that the fact that it can be folded up adds almost nothing to the space required to store it. The container they sent me is labeled '350ml' which is quite small. The link to the product page shows the 800 ml container. I have no means of comparison, but my guess is that 800ml isn't much more than 350ml. If you look at the two photos of the jar I received, side by side and in my hand, you can get an idea of just how small the 350ml jar really is. The construction feels kind of weird, almost rubbery, and I'm not entirely sure I'd trust it with mildewproofing. removed for ventilation but I have no idea what food would need such ventilation and if I removed the little plug for this purpose I would probably lose sight of it fairly quickly. It would be better if the stopper remained on the container after loosening. Anyway, that was the first thing I thought of. Overall, I am not very impressed with this silicone food container and cannot recommend it. My rating is three stars.
