Review on 🌦️ Aurum Cables Weatherproof Outdoor Ethernet by Michael Lara

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Long, efficient, not too thick

I bought this cable when moving because I moved into an apartment where I had a spare room that I could use as an office instead of having my own Having computers in my living room where the network connection appeared. The problem was that the place it entered the apartment was in the living room, the farthest corner from the room where I set up my office. I knew this but didn't have a chance to see the apartment / never had exact measurements so I bought this cable. Turns out I overestimated that length and that's really the only problem I had. Even at 250 feet, I haven't lost signal strength or router bandwidth. And the cable appears to be about the same thickness as your regular ethernet cable, just maybe more durable so you have to work a little more with the kinks when it tries to reel it back in. But it fits into standard cheap cable holders to hold it up as it walks around my apartment. I need to trim it and I have the tools to do it, but haven't tried it yet. So I can't say if that will be a problem. But I don't see any problems.

Pros
  • Cables and accessories
Cons
