These are beautiful well made lights. Sturdy construction, nice fit and finish. They require a "durability" rating which I can't give as I only installed them today. They are advertised for 50,000 hours which should last long after I die. However, they still work as advertised. It took me about 30 minutes to install each light including wiring, hole cutting etc and the wiring was very easy . direct instructions. The dimming function is excellent and works well with the original equipment in the house. The only problem I have with these lamps is that they are very, very expensive. I know you get what you pay for, but I paid $40 for each lamp and it seems that the best price, even with excellent product execution, is somewhere in the region of $25 per lamp should. However, I'm not deducting a star for the high price. About $25 each seems fairer to me considering other similar products I've bought in the past. Thanks again for a great product!
