Finally! Thank you thank you thank you!

I'm one of the unfortunate few trackball enthusiasts. I can't use a regular mouse for very long and certainly can't use a regular mouse for any games. That being said, the Logitech Marble Trackman, a trusty trackball that still exists, was the starting point for me on this horrific journey. Shortly after giving up the trackball, I switched from it to the Logitech Cordless Trackman Optical and that's where things went wrong. For me the perfect device. A trackball mouse that seemed to fit my right hand perfectly. It had a few extra buttons that came in handy while gaming. My first lasted 2 years and my second lasted about the same length, except just before this death Logitech decided to discontinue the product - oh %^#t, I went through periods of technical grief that kind of resembled ordinary grief. I denied that the product was discontinued and convinced myself that the product is cyclical where sometimes they discontinue a product and re-release it a few months later with different colors or a different name. That didn't happen. Then I got really angry, which is pretty stupid, but hey, it was because I felt cheated by the company. How can you as a company release 1001 different models of the same mouse but only 1 very very very basic model for index finger trackball users? Then I entered the negotiation phase, where the technical part came into play. I went to their forum, twitter, facebook, wherever I thought I could trick the company into believing that we (index finger mouse users) exist, enough to launch at least one more model. I was close to public begging. After months and no sound from the company I was sad - depression isn't the word I would use, again, that's not actual sadness, just technical sadness. I was sad because I felt very uncomfortable and out of place with a regular mouse and nothing else worked for me. I've tried several devices from different companies, such as Kensington and a Logitech thumb trackball (which I can't use at all). Finally came the confession. A fresh slap in the face is that the company has introduced a new thumb trackball, as if their M570 wasn't enough they've released the sleek MX Ergo Plus - ouch. I just bought a new Logitech trackball, you know, and it's been like that for a while. Elecom shows up, a foreign company that doesn't seem to have caught the eye. One day I decided to search again for trackball mice and found the Deft or EX-G series, whatever they were called. I bought it and it turned out to be a great wireless trackball, but the ball never felt right and the shape was just wrong enough that it didn't exactly make it a gaming mouse for me, even though I use it for everyday use PC usage etc. Finally, finally I get what I want/need. They've released a larger version that's perfect for what it's worth. I really can't explain how awesome this is, so I'll say it. I didn't just write these previous anecdotes so you could identify with me. If you've ever used that damn Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman OR Microsoft Trackball Explorer, which feel very similar, then what you need is a trackball. It seems a little big at first, too big actually - but give it a little, just like the trackball addiction that's creeping up on us, the device eventually gets just right. I can't remember exactly what my hand was like when I used previous devices, but I think the most drastic difference is that you don't have to rotate your ring finger to right-click since the buttons are right at your fingertips are in natural order. free place. The top of the device is large and softly padded so you literally just put your hand on it, it's very comfortable. There are a few extra buttons that I haven't figured out how to use since I haven't read the manual (3 function buttons), but you get the basic element of an enhanced trackball, otherwise you get a clickable scroll wheel in addition to the 2 clickable buttons. Buttons (forward/backward for browsers) directly above. All of them, as a rule, work universally and are easily attached in games. The left button sits below the scroll wheel in what I find to be a very convenient spot, since my thumb is right there. The third function key is located next to the right-clicker. There is a switch on the device that increases the speed of the trackball manually, not via software. So far this is a fantastic device. I have the wired version and am seriously considering buying 2 or 3 more and putting them away just in case. I'll give it some time to see what happens to the device after a few months of use. Thank you Elecom and thanks to the seller and Revain! I just came back to say the mouse is still working great after many months. I currently have 2.1 for my main system and another one for my working system. I will be buying 2 more as I mentioned to put away in case Elecom decides to stop production. I'm also looking at the Bluetooth model that I'll most likely be using with my mobile devices - we'll see. HUGE is so big I'm not sure I want to change the formula.
