I bought one of those plain black 100 page albums a few weeks ago and had no problems so decided to buy 2 more black 60 page albums. Unfortunately they arrived damaged as the spiral binding on both books makes the pages incredibly difficult to use/turn. Not only that, although each notebook is wrapped in plastic upon arrival, both have multiple signs of wear on the cover. The pages inside are folded and turned over near the binding which looks unfinished and shows that they were damaged prior to shipping and even packaging. Hopefully I can bend the spiral into place so I can turn the pages. I would go with a more reputable brand like Strathmore or Canson, they have never let me down. Again, the first sketchbook I bought was great - no problem, decent quality drawing paper, but these two I've just received indicate poor quality control and/or packaging.
