Didn't protect

Bought and installed on my daughter's phone to avoid damaging it if she drops the phone. As a result, the phone fell and its protective film and the screen itself were damaged. Usually the ones I choose to backup new devices do what they describe, but they don't. Not sure why or if it was faulty but will definitely look for another provider if I replace their phone one day.
