I bought this item in February 2019. Within 6 months of moderate use, helmet components began to fail. The headrest's poor connection to the styrofoam body was my first clue that neither craftsmanship nor quality control were priorities in manufacturing. Furthermore, the suspension with adjustable dimensioning of the strip develops kinks at two attachment points on the body. These critical plastic components were extremely thin and fragile; withstands nothing even with normal use. Thank goodness for ties with nylon buttons; They soon made up most of the connecting and structural parts of the helmet mount. An added annoyance is that I always have to fiddle with the buckles on the head straps, which keep coming loose. A programmable safety light is a nice touch, but like everything else, it's cheap, low quality, and temporary. A detachable visor can complement the futuristic Iron Man theme, but it also suffers from functionality and durability issues. Since the visor is largely made up of stylish spaces, you can also glue a small piece of mesh to the front for the light and glare protection that the fragile, easily breakable visor offers. In short I am very disappointed in the lack of durability and quality of this helmet once again proves that "you get what you pay for". Warning, this Chinese flip cap will not last long as a usable/functional PPE! Not being a kid anymore and having never bought art or ceramics, I should have chosen function over form. when will i study
