For the price ($20-25), you can't beat it. So far this has worked great for our pup who now weighs up to 20lbs. Still small but I can see it holding up when she's fully grown (we teach her not to pull on the leash just like you). At this price you won't even find a line in a major hardware store, so no problem. The included hardware works fine, but I wasn't too impressed with the plastic stoppers - they didn't actually stop the pulley and tended to lock up the wheel. Instead, I took some cheap hammocks with U-bolts to tighten at both ends of the line. They are held firmly in the plastic casing around the line and stop the pulley much better than the original equipment. The rest of the equipment works perfectly. Spring is good for softening the forces on the trees we are attached to. The only thing I can complain about is the tensioner, but the U-bracket that comes with it has held up very well so far and after pulling hard on the cable two months ago when installing it, I haven't had to adjust it yet. stopper problem. and no spanner, i would give every more expensive line 4 stars. But because of the price I can't give it less than 5 stars in good conscience. Hardware issues are very minimal, and for a very low price, you can go to your local hardware store or Walmart and upgrade a few components without breaking the bank.
